Maintenance Process
Prepare the New Locomotive
The new locomotive should be ready. This means it should be checked to make sure it is working like the old one.
Power Off
This is where the power source is disconnected. It is done to ensure safety when replacing a locomotive.
Remove the Old Locomotive
Now, the old locomotive is detached from the rest of the train. The manual is used here to know how to do this safely.
Install the New Locomotive
The new locomotive is connected to the train. The manual is used again to ensure this is done in the right way.
Check Everything is Working
Before the power is turned on again, everything is checked. This is to make sure all parts are working as they should.
Power On
Now, the power source is connected again to the locomotive. It is done when the user is sure the replacement is done correctly.
